What words best describe your program?

Those are excellent descriptors of a program. My top four would be:
1. Passion
2. Dedication
3. Responsibility
4. Academic Excellence

1) Integrity
2) Disciplined
3) Academics

Respect (as in, the game, each other, yourself)
Integrity
Passion

acedemics are key,and to be expected. after all it is a school? but in the coaches room. the team needs on field motivation,expectations. just my opinion.
hustle
attitude
character
respect

we try to include all of the above parts to our program. one thing we try to add that maybe others don't..... is family. once you are part of the program you are part of our baseball family. i have guys coming back every year from college break etc. just to watch practices and games. several who are still playing college ball will take a few swings in the cage etc, just to stay sharp over the breaks. i will not turn down a former player (still playing in college) a few swings or ground balls.

FUN!
IMO, the most important thing is for your players to look back on their career with a coach or in a program and say, "That was fun...I wish I could do that again".
(But what's more fun than winning )

1) PRACTICE: to direct every player closer to perfect play.
2) LEADERSHIP: to direct the team in the achievement of collective goals, and
3) ACCEPTANCE: both of my teamates/coches with all their faults and my role on the team so that we all win together.

Communication is a key to all aspects of life.
Dedication, do what you say your going to do.
Loyalty is something that is earned from members of the team and coaching staff and vis versa. When a team becomes loyal winning is much easier.
