Can anyone recommend a good golf-ball pitching machine? (The kind that pitches those golf-ball size plastic balls.)

I'm trying to help my 12 year old son learn to track the ball better as well as increase his confidence before a game. Since I'm terrible at pitching or tossing at any distance, I'm considering one of those personal pitchers. The machines are affordable and it's something I can do to help him even has he grows older.

Help! His father doesn't see him enough to help him.

The Personal Pitcher can be purchased off ebay for less than offered on their website. I have "The Crusher" which throws foam golf ball sized balls. Paid about $99 on clearance for it, great deal.

Also, Jugs makes a soft toss machine that I've owned for years. Rarely needs charging. Runs about $229. Can be bought from Linedrive.com or baseballexpress.com
We use the personal pitcher. It works great in-doors and outdoors, only on very calm days. If there's any wind at all, you'll get very few strikes, unless you set the machine very close.

So, we decided its best use is in-doors at close proximity and we use a weighted broom stick for a bat. I think the bat is called a grow-bat or something like that. Its the exact weight and length of a normal bat, except its only as big around as a broom stick.
