This is a weird one.
Keep in mind that this is a 9 year old instructional league.Some of these kids have never played but just wanted the official rule.
Bases loaded 2 outs,kid hits the ball to the fence.Kid runs from 3rd to the plate.HE STOPS and stays standing on the plate.
Next runner comes sliding in,while the kid is still standing on the plate.
The coach said the next runner should be out but he let them keep playing.
He was still standing there when the next runner came in.If there would have been less than 2 outs,would both runners be out.
Just wondered what the official call should be if this came up in a regular season game.
