We celebrated early this year as the youngin' is now officially a Li'l Dback Boy ... signing his first professional contract in front of his family was his Father's Day gift to his dad this year. He heads out Sat early a.m. to start his professional career, and so will miss Father's Day. He actually had some pangs of sadness about that but trust me when I say ... Son, Dad really really understands.

So this year, we will head to Riverside to honor my hubby's dad on Father's Day ... something we don't usually get to do because ... well, you guessed it ... we have been at a baseball game !!!

Like the new (AGAIN!) avatar, but it kind of reminds me of the one we have roaming around our neighborhood at night (haven't caught a glimpse yet, thank heavens, but I'll bet he doesn't have a smile on his face, too)! Big Grin

Father's Day? My husband always gets "ripped off" of his special day, since we always seem to have OTHER things going on. This year was a combined, surprise, 25th anniversary/50th birthday party for our best friends in Cleveland---they are still stunned that we all pulled it off. Big Grin Then I got to put my son on a plane to Hilton Head without us ( Frown) to meet up with his college buddies for a week of fun in the sun. At least Dad got a CARD before he bid us adieu!
