When a school moves from NAIA to D3

As much as I would love to be able to intelligently make a comment about Spalding being a Top-Flite program, I shall refrain

Anyhow, the biggest difference will be scholarships, which in D3 are based on academics only, as well as usually a reduction in games played, and a much shorter fall season.

Baseball for life - Is the school you're talking about, Spalding in Louisville, KY? I hadn't heard that they were going to be DIII. I'm not really sure what the restrictions would be... if you move up in NCAA, you do have restrictions on championship play, etc. for a period of time. I don't know that coming from NAIA to DIII would include that though.

Spalding has had some success within their conference, but they're in a very weak conference.
