A very good question. If you are anticipating using the free tuition as leverage to negotiate a better scholarship, I would be cautious. But then, a lot depends on the talent level of your son. Most players are not in a position to negotiate. I think I would lay all my cards on the table on the front end before any offers were made. If you are willing to forgo the free tuition to play baseball at another university, I would include that bit of information in my first sentence Smile.
I'm sure there are some other Websters that have been in the same situation; maybe they can shed a little light on the subject.
