My son is a 2013 pitcher. At the beginning of his sophmore year he went to a headfirst event and recorded 80 mph as a high. By the end of his sophmore year he was up to 88 mph at the PG showcases and tournaments. He is getting stronger and still not done growing (not shaving yet).
My question is should I wait until the end of his junior year after Cobb/jupiter to tell schools we are ready to commit or do it now. I am sure he will be throwing harder 9 months from now which will get us a better scholarship but will we get hurt by waiting because alot of the scholarships will be gone?
