Funds are limited so wondering when is "best" or "ideal" time for individual showcase. Is between sophomore and junior year too late? I know there are a lot of opinions and I am curious as to replies with reasoning behind them or experience. He is also an honor student with excellent grades and attitude.

Between Sophmore year and Junior year is the perfect time to start, it gives the Colleges a chance to get your son on the radar. We looked around for local colleges that put on individual showcases while also pairing up players into teams that play against each other. They will also have Pro-Style workouts that will let you son know what he needs to work on. Look for these colleges that do this type of camp/showcase and see what kind of participation of colleges acually come to grade the kids. Most College Athletic websites will have this camp/showcases already on their site.

Good Luck
