I was reading an article Referee magazine, and I hoped you guys could give me a place to look up the rule. Here is what I was reading;  PLAY 1: With a 1-2 count and no runners on base, B1 attempts to check his swing, and the plate umpire calls, "Ball". The pitch gets away from F2, but he retrieves the ball and then asks the umpire to appeal his call. U1 reverses the decision and rules a strike. The defense tags B1 before he can reach first.

RULING 1: The plate umpire should go for an immediate appeal. Appealing after F2 has retrieved the ball puts the offense at a tremendous disadvantage. If, however, that scenario happens in NFHS, the umpire may determine if B1 would have made it to first if the pitch had been immediately been called a strike If so he may award first base to B1.
Also what about with the bases loaded and two outs?
