Where did Mike Stanton come from?

The Marlins have a guy in their low minors that hit 39 homers as an 18 year old. What area is this Mike Stanton from and did he show this potential in his high school?

Also, was he rated highly by people like PG or BA?

Stanton is from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High. He was named Cal-HiSports.com athlete of the year in 2007.

I could not find anything in the PG player database. He sounds like a beast, but many articles say he was very "raw" out of high school! Had signed a NLI to play at USC prior to the draft.
