2013 Son received an invitation to the Under Armour Pre-Season All America Tournament in Tucson, Arizona in January. Cost $799 plus travel, hotel, etc. Also have an invitation to the PG National Underclass Main Event in Fort Myers, Florida in late December. Cost $599 plus travel, hotel, etc.

Seeing as how the income at My Three Sons house is not quite as robust as it was a few years ago, 2013 must choose one of the two events. Which of the two can we expect to get the most mileage out of assuming 2013 Son delivers a good showing? Thanks in advance for any advice, opinions or recommendations.

Go to the Perfect Game event! My 2013 did the Underclass last Dec. in Ft. Myers and, other than the record cold weather, he really enjoyed it. There were 500+ kids, 60% of which were 2012's about 30% 2013's and 10% 2014's. Very well run event and good facilities at the Red Sox complex. First morning is testing and individual workouts followed by two games. The third day is the "Top Prospect" games and probably 100 players earned "Top Prospect" status. This is a D1 quiet or dead period so no D1's there but several pro scouts and lower level colleges. Their web site and data base are excellent and many colleges utilize it to identify prospects. Every pitch in the games are radared with Stalker Sports and participating may help get you PG All America status or into their player rankings which are also used by schools...
