Any suggestions on where a HS graduate can play the summer before fall practice starts at college?

Find a good summer team, with a really competitive shedule, he needs to stay sharp for the fall.
Florida, California or Texas, would be the best places to play, with better players.
Where do you live? In the Tampa area we got the Stan Musial, summer wooden bat league, excellent, but he has to be ready. He has to be a really good player, to play there. Good luck.

Don't burn yourself out. It's a whole new game come Fall and first impressions are huge. Be fresh .
Agree with rz1- but stay in shape- running, lifting, endurance. It takes too long to get it back if you slack off.
