Could anyone share some experience with Harvard baseball camp (Crimson baseball academy)? I know headfirst honor roll camp is mentioned a lot here, while very little about Harvard. My son is very interested in Harvard, but we can only make one trip in Aug. In this case, among these two, which one would we go?

Thanks in advance.

Son attended the Summer camp (late August) at Harvard and also the Winter Camp indoors under the Bubble (which Harvard holds during Martin Luther King and President's weekends). Found the summer camp more useful as games were played on a true field.

A couple of observations: son couldn't believe the HUGE NUMBER of players at each (sell out quickly). If you go, it helps if you have been in contact with the coaches before- which son was. Either camp pulls in additional coaches from other high academics (such as MIT, Bates, Holy Cross.) Don't know what grad year or position your son plays. I would probably attend HF or other High Academic showcases where Harvard attends to get bang for your buck! If you are planning on going to HF this year, positions are filling up--especially MI and C. Good luck!
