would you rather have a coach who was nice and didn't care to win, but if you tryed your hardest, or a coach that pushed you hard ,and wanted to win it?

I always love playing for the fun and love of the game but when you get older it's not always fun when you dont win. How often do you want to invite friend(GIRLS) to come and watch if you know you might lose.
I'll take the coach who wants to win, pushes each player to maximum ability but can take a joke, and is lax at times.
I would rather have the fun going coach because he lets things be fun again and that will push us players to enjoy practice. The coach will still coach, but ours lets his players play.
I'd like a coach who always wants to win, and emphasizes that to the players. Doesn't overmanage, let's us play, but can light a fire under a team. Joe Torre, basically.
