banditodad,

Thanks. Best of luck to you guys as well.

Cooperstown is a blast. You guys should try to make it next year. Not only is sthe competition solid, it is just a fun week.

For the 11U age group, here is what I have for the respective Nationals:

AAU
Carolina Lightning, Central FL Express, East Cobb Astros, Carolina Outlaws,

Elite 24
Banditos Black, Central FL Express, OC Juice, Team Action, NA Vipers, Spartanburg Phillies, East County Scorpions, OKC Braves

I am sure there are other great teams entered in these tourneys.

There is a 13U bracket at Oneonta/Cooperstown that we did a few years back. cooperstownbaseballworld.com . For the 12's and 11's there is also a new facility in Cooperstown if you can't get into dreams park. It's called Cooperstown All-Star Village. Great new facility with games shown over the internet so family and friends can watch back home.

We are thinking of making that tourney 1 year (13U?). Can you tell me more?

Redbird - We're going next year and I started a thread on it here somewhere.

This year we've qualified for CABA WS and still looking to qualify for USSSA Nationals (AA). Will probably do the CABA Quality WS since it's close to home.

Redbird, Omaha tourney is a wonderful event. The boys get to see some of the best college ball players in the USA upclose and they are all very personable and since it is a college atmosphere the atmosphere inside the stadium is like nothing the boys will ever see anywhere else for a baseball game. (and they don't allow alcohol in the stadium either so it is just fans really enjoying the game for the most part). If the Longhorns are in the tournament that is definately the game to go see, Crazy people down there in Texas, man. The Omaha Zoo is a must see and it is right there beside Rosenblat stadium makes for a very full afternoon of family fun for not a whole lot of money. The game times are all structured to allow for these activities to occur if you choose to take advantage of these events. I highly recommend the trip.

Was there last year, bring bug spay for the fields outside of steam boat, band-ades too. The Rodeo will be in town don't miss it great BBQ. If you like horseback riding, call Wayne and Lou Iacovetto at the Saddleback Ranch, 970-879-3711. They can do Family evening rides followed by a great BBQ. If you want to do a team deal talk with the Concierge of the place you're staying at they can help. The trip is allot of fun. Bring team PINS! There is a tack store on the main street that sells "Moose Droppings" biglaugh and other sorts, they make great gifts for friends back home. There are many things to do, Hot air ballon rides, a small carnival area, shopping. Get your reservation early and save $.
