Whitney wins 1-0 in a pitchers duel and a tightly played defensive game.
Max Freidman goes the distance for Young and gets the last strikeout with the bases loaded. The third baseman for Whitney Young, Troy (something), made two big time plays. Also, the first baseman for Whitney, throwing a runner out at home after a play at first..crucial.
Excellent game on both sides of the field. Both teams have a lot to be proud of.
It was an incredible setting on a beautiful day at Wrigley.
I love watching kids play good baseball, nothing better.
