WHO ARE THE TOP YOUNG PITCHERS IN THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA?

i know gary bulman of fc is a good sophmore and kempsville has a good freshman in neil ramirez

In my opinion the top two lefties are Sean Ray(Soph) at Kellam an Greg Amoroso(Fresh) at Norfolk Academy. Not only are they the best 2 young LHP but along with Bullman(Soph) and Ramirez(Fresh). I would say they are head and shoulders above all other freshman & sophmores in the area.

Don't now the Amoroso kid, but have seen Bullman and Ray pitch. Both very good pitchers. Both of these kids are young sophmores.

JV is JV, not varsity. Again, the kid may be the real deal, I haven't seen him.

If C******d is still pitching JV he my be good but no way near the quality of the others mentioned. All of the others are/were quality vasity starters as freshman

There is way too much talk about all these kids that are playing "out of thier HOME district". Fact is if they played true to their "home", then we would see how they really are.
NOTE to Mom and Dad, keep your kids in district, let them play in a school that does not have a wining team every year, but let THEM, the KIDS, shine with the potential THEY have, not the "clout" you might have as an ADULT!! To many times adults mingle were they don't need to... just some food for thought!

jason padgett threw a two hitter.

I have seen both Bullman (righty) and Ray (lefty) and in my opinion are the 2 best underclassmen I have seen. I have watched both pitch on their showcase teams and face some of the best hitters on the east coast and have no problem as rising sophomores. Look forward to watching them both over the next 2 years. Good luck to both.

let me add something. I do not mean the kids listed here in this post, although doc has mentioned one is out of district. What I meant is all the other kids going out of their home district...

I have read your post 3 times and still don't understand it. If you are arguing that parents should keep their kids at one school, I will offer up Hickory and Great Bridge. Which coach would you rather your kid play for?
