My son recently attended a major college camp. At the end of the camp, they asked he and about 7 other kids to stay longer and hit in front of all of the coaches. They hit off lefty, righty and a wicked curve ball from a machine. When they were done with that a couple guys came up to my son and asked him some questions as well as took pictures of him against the wall. They weren't coaches from the school. Someone said they were scouts.
My question is why would there be scouts at the school's camp? I can't imagine they would have another college there and why would they want pro scouts hanging around? I thought it was unusual. No experience at this I know the school liked him. He was 94 mph off the tee with a wood bat and was the only one consistently driving the curve ball. That bragging aside, I'm curious why they would expose kids to other scouts?
