Not exactly traditionally NoVa, and AFAIK it's not a HS field, and IMO, the playing surface @ the Fairfax field I mentioned earlier is slightly better - but not the rest of the facilities, of course.

It is not a true high school field in the traditional sense, I agree with that. Its a Parks and Rec. field that Loudoun Valley High School has used as its home field for years and years.
I also agree that Westfield has an incredible surface but it beyond that there really isn't much to it.
The opening of Woodgrove didn't change anything at Fireman's. LV still plays their home games there and Woodgrove has their own field. Little disappointed with the Woodgrove field as it is a simply cookie-cutter field like all the other new county schools. It does have a nice field house though and maybe with the passage of time the field will develop more of a personality. But hey, I grew up in the shadow of Fenway so I'm hard to please. haha
