Here is what I can share about Pool G. DM me if you'd like more.
1. US Elite 17u is NOT the same group of US Elite 2016s that went 7-0 in pool play (7 total runs allowed) in last years 16U WWBA and made it to the final 16. The vast majority of those players (all but 3 have committed to D1s) have moved to Chandler World Gold 17U, following their coach whom they all love playing for. The US Elite 17u roster is not posted yet, but I think it is called "17U" and not their traditional "2016s" for a reason - I believe they have many 2017s on that squad. I know, like and respect the organization and all it stands for...but, that team, I know, did not do well in the recent Cincy Flames tournament. They may have stocked the roster for WWBA, but that is what I know.
2. Evoshield Diamond Elite is the former Diamond Elite from Northern VA that rebranded and affiliated with Evoshield Canes organization. They will be a solid team but only have 1 commit (for what that is worth) and lost a couple of their better players from last year to other organizations. They have a couple of good arms but, to be honest, probably not enough to make a deep run.
I hope this helps.
