How the heck do you know what they were thinking? What a typical TR thing to say, I wouldn't expect anything else.
Do yo think that he got all that attention from eye black, get real.
He didn't have to talk to anyone after the game, but you have to show humility in a win or a loss and I think he did, JMO.

Glad I wasn't the only one feeling that way.

Here you go again with your "supremist attitude"---lady you do not have all the answers, not by a longshot--- if you do not want to believe it was all a marketing gambit that is your right just as it is my right to believe otherwise

What you posted is typical TPM , I wouldn't expect anything else from you but I do know a bit about the marketing game

Have a great night and enjoy the Clemson game

No buddy, you got the supremist 'tude. FYI, been in marketing and advertising myself, and who CARES what you have done or do, has nothing to do with this topic.

Go back to have some more chicken and beer.

Sorry you feel that way---

By the way the chicken is gone, the at was for the afternoon, and lamb chops are now on the grille.

BTW--I didn't talk about what I have "done" nor did I say you did or did not know anything about marketing and advertising--I simply said I know a bit about the marketing game--amazing how easy it is to draw out your colors and watch you get so defensive
TR, FYI you are not the only one who knows about the marketing game, so don't use that to back up your comments made about his folks. You have NO CLUE what is going through anyone's mind.
Seems to me that they raised a good kid that cares about others, something you don't see often these days.
There is no way Tebow ends up coaching college football as his profession. He is going to be in politics. He may do it for a short period of time while he is also getting his law degree. lol

I for one am glad he is finished. I have never thought one player was bigger than the team or the game. But the media covering his games would like you to believe just that. UF Gator Sr night was replaced with Tim Tebow Sr night.

He is a politician at heart. Thats where he ends up.

Then he'll go down in NFL history with Danny Wuerffel, John Reaves and Steve Spurrier.
Natural- justed watch Texas barely escape, still waiting to see those athletes you were talking about.
Not a big Alabama homer, I'm actually a transplant here from Miami, but the religion of college football is year-round in this part of the country. As a semi-neutral observer, I don't think Texas has a chance. I called the Florida beat-down in the Men Only forum, and I'll call the national championship here.
One word- Destiny. Wink
Congrats to my Tide!! Congrats of U Cincy too... what a season they have experienced!!

I don't understand the negative comments made about Tim Tebow. Not specifically here, but elsewhere in general. The young man cried after he didn't win a SEC championship. He's a senior. He's a leader. I've seen many a young man experience that emotion and it seems perfectly normal to me. I'm like Wayne and whatever comes the guy's way in the future, I wish him tremendous success.

I'm wishin' 'bama tremendous success too in the national championship!! Smile
I am not sure why anyone would get down on any non professional player.
My prediction Tebow will go pro, if drafted in a good spot, return to FL to coach, not forever, reciece his law degree while doing so and I agree that he is one of the greatest collegiate football players of our time, regardless of whatever statement he made while there.

FWIW, keep your eyes on Tiger QB Kyle Parker, not too many redshirt freshman (and he is young) make it to their conference championships, also plays baseball for the Tigers. Great arm.

Many people, like myself have had their fill of Tebow. It's more the media's fault than his. Every time Florida is on we get filled with Saint Tebow stories like we've never heard them before. Enough! Plus, I think Tebow knows exactly what he's doing with his scriptures on his eye black. It started as religious. I believe eventually it became using the media for promotion. He knows if he changes the scripture, all of us tv viewers are going to get a scripture reading of the day from the announcers and the Tim Tebow story again. Pardon my suspicioun, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's at the suggestion of his parents. And whether it's Tebow or any other athlete I could care less if the parents are in the stands and see a camera shot of them. Tebow can only fall to earth from where the media holds him in the stratisphere. Anyone remember Saint Steve Garvey?
