2 man crew. Bases are loaded with no outs. Batter hits a looping line drive in between first-baseman and second-baseman. 2B slides to supposedly make catch; neither umpire makes the call. The 2B thinks he caught it, my runners are sure it is on the ground. 2B throw to first, then first throws to second to end the game on triple play.

Who should make the judgment call on the catch/no-catch??

In two man: BU
In 3 and 4 man: U1

in 2 man, without seeing the hit, its the PU's call. BU will be in the C position, and has everything in the "V" basically from the left fielder to the right fielder, all balls outside that are called by the PU.

This was an infield batted ball, not a fly to the outfield. Recheck your mechanics book.

By CCA and pro mechanics, in two man, the second baseman moving towards first belongs to BU.
