Who's Going to Omaha?

We leave in about two hours. Youngest son is playing in a tournament there. We're hoping to get to one of the games at Rosenblatt on Saturday.

That place is a blast during the CWS!

Of all of the travel ball tournaments that 08Son played in, the Omaha one during the CWS remains on the top of the list - just a wonderful time... enjoy!!!

This is our third trip for this youth tournament. Get to wish Rosenblatt a fond farewell. Drove by the new park. Looks great. Looks expensive.

My highlight will be the Julianne Hough concert Friday night...oh yeah, and coaching my son!

My dad is leaving in 3 days I think. He and some coaches have gone out the last few years. They flew out one year, but they're driving this year.

We'll be leaving Friday morning. Wish we could get there for the opening ceremonies but couldn't work it out. Looking forward to a great week.

MTH - I'm sorry I don't keep up with these things. Does your son play for Clemson or South Carolina?

Have a great time. Being there when our son played in 2008 was one of the greatest experiences of our lives. Unforgettable!
