I'm working in the office at the paper tonight and a pair of Illinois softball boxscores crossed my desk. The Illini are in Tampa opening the season.
Anybody know why their season starts earlier?

Maybe because softball gets 12 scholarships and baseball is at 11.7, who knows with the NCAA
I may be wrong but I thought I saw some Baseball scores in D3.
FBD, you aren't wrong. In Jackson, Miss there's a big Wilson/DeMarini tournament with some of the top Div III teams playing. Also, plenty of action underway in So.Cal.
