The reason goes way, way back. The outfield was frequently where the buffalo roam and it was just too darn difficult to get them to move. So I've heard.

not buyin' it... that's clearly the football field. you can tell by the way the coaches are dressed.

Went to U of Colorado in Boulder and they didn't have baseball because the fences would have been 500 or 600 ft. They say it's a mile and half high there as opposed to Denver a mile high.

Too old: you have Chuck Fairbanks to thank for no baseball at CU. They hired him to be the football god and he got 7 sports cancelled. Then he coached like he was on crack... so they got rid of him but didn't bring back baseball.

I was hoping the PAC "fill in a number here" would tell CU they have to field a baseball team... me and John Lennon are dreamers ain't we.

My sympathy leans more towards the stitching holding the seam in the crotch. I would guess all it's going to take is a bite or two from that burger before that button is launched into the stratosphere and the stitching starts singing a tearful tune!

Not to mention Title 9 and having to invest a lot of $$ to add another sport. Such is the case I've heard in Colorado....there are not baseball facilities on the CU Campus, the state is looking at huge budget shortfalls, and cutting back is the rule, rather than the exception. So...we need a befefactor here in Colorado.....maybe Oklahoma State would like to share theirs???
