Yes, Ragin Cajuns still play baseball here (UL Lafayette). Son has attended a few camps there. Coach Tony Robicheaux is a great coach and very well respected in this area. He also does a lot for the community.

I figured you were just kidding. As long as UL is here, the baseball team will be here and I don’t think UL will be going anywhere. Well at least I gave your son’s coach a good review. I live about 20 miles east of Lafayette (in between Lafayette and Baton Rouge). I actually work about 5 minutes from UL. If ever your son needs anything, just let me know, I will be happy to help out in any way I can.

Sorry for the hijack.....Thanks very much. He loves it there, especialy the culinary and celebratory opportunities. Y'all sure do roll out the hospitality. I like Poche's in Breaux Bridge for lunch.

We do know how to cook and have fun, great place to live, would never move away.

Two teammates, one from Laffy, one from Canada, went to New England for summer ball this year. The Canadian said the Laffy kid was so home sick, and 'bout to die to get home.

Cajuns do not usually move away and if they do they always come back home. Holiday gatherings consist of about 40 to 50 family members in one house. It can get crowded, but man is it fun.

I am lucky enough to have a coach who just happened to "lose" one of his keys to our indoor hitting facility. Now the campus security guards are having to chase us out for hitting at all hours of the night! lol
