I recently visted W&M and I thought they really had a nic campus. I know they have great academics, but how is the baseball? Thanks.
"Practice."-Tiger Woods when asked what he would do after failing to make the cut at the U.S. Open. "When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing. Yet at the 101st blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." mtownfan

mtownfan,

While William & Mary is currently searching for a new Head Coach, they have had real success in the last few years with their baseball program. Thay have had a number of draft picks signed after playing for W&M. Bill Bray was the #1 pick of the Washington Nationals(EXPOS) in 2004. Chris Ray was the 3rd round choice of the Orioles in 2003. Chris Shaver was the 4th round pick of the Cubs in 2004. Brendan Harris was the Cubs 5th round pick in 2001. Chris Rahl was the 5th round choice of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2005.

They have had the Conference Player of the Year in 2004 in Chris Rahl. Chris was also a consensus All American.

William & Mary has the finest baseball facility in the CAA and one of the best in the Mid-Atlantic. Moderate weather also helps this program.

I am sure that a good replacement will be found given all the positives this program contains.
