Wilson A-2000 Model 1788 I.F. Glove

It's a nice glove. I have had one for 3-4 years now and it is still in very good condition.

Thanks--I like the shallow pocket. If JT, Jr is looked at for IF in the fall, I may go with it.

It must be a nice glove because I bought one for my son and someone stole it!

Thanks TR. He's having a great summer and looks ready to help them. It will be much easier for us to watch him play now!

Great glove. The Wilson A-2000 line is excellent IMO. You'll see lots of professional players using 'em.

JT......son has played second base for about 8 years now.....and does not like the Wilson A-2000 because of lacing problems. He has gone through two of them in short order.....in both cases....the lacing around the pocket ripped through the leather. Playing on the west coast he played 10 to 11 months of the year....so all his equipment took a beating....but he won't buy this glove again....he likes and now uses the Mizuno brand, same pocket/lacing, and 11 1/2".

Wouldn't it be something if they both played second base, same conference....different schools....

That would be real cool--only as long as you could live with 2nd team all conference every year

My son has had one for a year and he likes it a lot. Actually I was playing catch with him this weekend and using his glove and it was quite comfortable and lots of padding.
