Of the 3 my son has done:
* UT's was very expensive ($500-$600) and very large (several hundred campers)
* TCU's was less expensive ($220), but too large (maybe 125-150 participants) and kind of like a cattle call at times. It does at least hand out a written evaluation at the end. Beware of instructors at the TCU camp who are from other colleges (like Oklahoma State) and call you and act very interested after the camp, but are only after your money to attend their own camp.
* DBU's was the least expensive ($150) and most beneficial, both for instruction and exposure. I think there were about 75 kids there max and the coaches were truly interested in helping each participant improve. DBU gives out a written evaluation on each player. DBU is also offering a hitting camp for $100 on Dec. 12 and the hitting instruction is top-notch. (DBU's offense is consistently in the top 10 nationwide in several categories.)
