Which wood bat would you prefer? I broke my Easton P72 and am looking to expand my outlook on wood bats. I need some new ideas if anyone has any, for a good price.
I have a Rawlings bat that was $50 from Champs Sports.
I've used it in the cage with baseballs a couple times, but I keep it mainly for hitting off the tee and other drills with Incrediballs and wiffle balls. I don't have any tape on it at all and I would like to keep tape off because I like the natural feel that it has now.
Old Hickory Wood Bats is a dealer to many major leauge players such as Andrew Jones and Miguel Tejada has been known to swing one once and a while ( He changes a lot) but the people are nice and the bats are to.
my high school team uses wood and my summer team used wood for about 30 of our 40 games, maybe only 2 or 3 kids could agree on models that they liked to swing... go to some store with a bunch of bats or pick up a buddies bat, take some country hacks, figure it out, but find a few models you like and stick with them. i like the max bat A10 model, real good feel to it, or the louisville m110 pro maple. its all personal preference though
