Cheater Bats? I've spent pretty good money on supposedly "Good" wood bats, and my son has broken his fair share (I believe 7 in less than a year, maybe 75 AB's?). If Baum Bats, Demarini Composites, etc... last longer, I'm all for it. I do agree that real wood will help with the metal swing, but some of us would like those bats to last more than a couple tournaments...JMO.
