Purely opinion, but I think your upper body isn't as important as strengthening and maintaining your core. You're restricted from many lower and upper body movements....but there are many core movements that you're only limited to doing and many more that you could do 100%. Your upper body strength won't go away as fast as you might think, but core strength is something you use everytime you take a step, sit down or stand up. That's my advice...take it as it is
