I was at the game Thursday night between Israel and Great Britain.
Charlie Cutler is former teammate of sons and longtime friend and just became a dad for the first time on Wed. Jerry Weinstein who used to post here occasionally is the manager. Two Israeli players friend of sons have more love and passion for the game than a lot of pro players do.
7 of this year's players are from team Israel from 4 years ago. Israel's closer from last night and today, mom used to post here. We had a great time. I met quite a few people involved heavily in the game at all levels.
Once again, tell your sons the game has no boundaries, everyone knows everyone.

Jerry is a good friend. We visited often in the SA City dugout before games.
He could coach 370 days a year. Charlie Cutler is a very good left handed hitting catcher from SF.
Jason Marquis is one of our Area Code players and played in Goodwill Series/Korea with Torii Hunter and our American team in 1996.
