I'm pretty sure you can't use that color for pitching. My sons team uses those gloves and they've held up well for the outfielders but the infielders have had some problems with tearing. I think they look pretty cool and my 12yr old thinks he has to get one.(dream on) The leather might be a little soft for heavy duty use. Worth bought out Rawlings, it's the Rawlings Gold Glove model is what I was told. So if the gold glove series held up for you it should be fine.
thanks for that info, its stopped me buyn it.
Im also lookn at the rawling HOH.
at the moment im using a Easton Natural series, which is 2 years old and i feal that it is too soft and was looking to upgrade.
Can you reccommend any gloves at about the rawlings HOH standard of glove?
any mizzuno, ssk, easton, rawling, and any others?
My son (college sr rhp) has had 2 Rawlings HOH, 1 Pro preferred, 1 Wilson A2000, 1 Wilson A3000, and he's had no trouble with any of those. He gets a new one every year(12yr old gets good used glove) Smile but those have held up well for him. He also used a Mizuno Classic Pro Chipper Jones model for 2 years in high school. Those are really the only gloves that I had any experience with, I'm sure there's more brands and styles out there that are fine.
