Have been planning a weekly, one-hour internet radio broadcast for awhile now. The show would essentially be an open forum for information-sharing on the recruiting process -- mirroring many of the topics that come up here on the HSBBW. We have the support of MN-Mom and others. PG, College Select, and Head First have all expressed an interest in participating in the shows, and we'd also like to get individual websters on the air now and then. Aren't you dying to know what gotwood REALLY has to say? It would be a very informative and fun hour each week. Call-ins would be welcomed. Again, discussions/topics would center on getting info out to parents/players on how to reach that next level.

If you have any specific ideas for show topics or for the show in general, please post or PM.

Would hope to launch the show some time in September, and will try and identify the best time for the show (evening for sure, and something that would accomodate EST/CST/MTN/PST).

Best,

KRAK

You betcha, Krak ... I'd listen, even though recruiting isn't important anymore. Would love to hear some of the websters on the air.

Can't imagine woody without his "magic camera" though.

As for topics, you have multiple years worth of HSBBWeb postings to glean, from Equipment (here comes Gloveman) to being a parent of a minor leaguer (Fungo, that would be you, along with OPP and many others).

JT would be a great guest, discussing balancing sports and education from an educators viewpoint (RZ1 would be great here too).

And, if you want stupidity, well, there are plenty of others (me included) who would qualify.

The favorite topic of the year for any long-time webster would HAVE to be rotary-line hitting.

TripleH, thanks for the feedback. The only forbidden topic, of course, will be rotational-vs-linear Big Grin

Seriously, though, we'd try to stick with topics relating to the process of climbing levels as opposed to skill development.

The education angle is a great one....the linchpin is "student-athlete" and those looking to go pro from HS or college ball.

Oh, to scap-load or not toscap-load -- also forbidden Eek
From a females perspective,...
I would definitely listen!

Need a baseball mom's opinion,...I'd be glad to chime in! ( just dont ask me to sing!- ha!)
And if ya ever want to throw out the latest Baseballmom fashion attire & home accessory finds,...I'm your gal! Wink Big Grin

Huh,.......whats that?

Oh you said,
