Okay, Girlfriends ...

We have chatted and giggled about this for a while, so I will take the plunge.

Please let me know if you would be interested in ordering a "Caution: This woman is suffering from PMS" t-shirt. I have a shirt connection and I think the artwork/screen cutting would be about $40-50 and then I think I could get the shirts at a cost of somewhere between $12-15 depending on size.

Also, would you prefer women's shirt sizes or men's? (That might make a little difference in price but am not sure ...)

Let me know. If it looks like we have any significant level of interest, I will start working on it.

Ann ...

I would envision something like this :

Caution:
This woman is suffering from
P(itcher's)
M (other's)
S(yndrome)

The spelling out of the words would be in much smaller lettering. Have a few ideas in mind that I would work out with the manufacturer.

But I agree ... we wouldn't want it to be confused with the "other" syndrome.

And maybe we could suggest that some of the distaff websters should buy them for their wives as Mother's Day gifts ... depending on how much of a sense of humor those ladies have.

What a great idea! Mike pitched (was quite good, actually---not blazing, but had a nasty changeup; ground ball pitcher) through JV in HS and through Senior Legion in the summers, but gave it up because his forte is hitting and he didn't want to pitch in college. So---I suffered from PMS for many years. I can certainly empathize---wish I had that shirt way back when!

Is this heaven?...
Me too!
Maybe 2 or 3. I'll check w/ a few friends.
I don't know about others but depending on cotton content, I think Men's sizes might be better. 'cause of "shrinkage" Wink

Mary Ann,

I had to chuckle to myself this weekend sitting at OU's ballpark and watching Ryan come in to pitch in relief not once but twice in the weekend series in games 1 and 3 and picturing me in the PMS t-shirt. That was double the usual anxiety that I usually incur in a weekend series. I posted an update on the After High School thread that was started by FrankF. I really need this t-shirt! Actually, I might need to order 2 of them!! Eek

And for the other girlfriends on here, please don't confuse "fluffy" with "puffy." Puffy makes you think of that "other" PMS that we don't want to talk or think about!!! Roll Eyes

Fluffy is just a polite way of saying that some of us don't have our much slimmer schoolgirl figures anymore. But that's okay because most of our men don't have their slim and trim teen bodies anymore, either. Razz

Fluffy is good, puffy is bad. biglaugh

Ann,

"Fluffy is just a polite way of saying that some of us don't have our much slimmer schoolgirl figures anymore."

I still have my schoolgirl figure ... I haven't seen it for a while, but I know it's still there ... just "cushioned" a bit so that I can give better hugs! Wink

Thanks for the info, Karen.

Philly kid,

I was the ONLY webster who thought you were cute and amusing. Now that I have found out that you called me some most nonamusing names that resulted in your last post having to be edited since this is a family website, I will defend you NO more. I thought you were just kidding around and I responded in kind. Now, it seems that you can "dish it out" but you can't take it. What a waste of creativity on your part! By the way, I'm really a nice person but I guess you'll never come to realize that! Sorry but that is YOUR loss. Come back when you grow up, young man, and then we can have some good, meaningful conversation.

Ann
