Saw a great game tonight with Red Oak vs Corsicana. Corsicina scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th and pulled the game out 5-3. Stayton Thomas on the mound had 15K and a double to start the rally. Might be a good one between the city players and country players.

It WAS amazing to all in attendance!

That young man IS extremely talented. What he was doing with the baseball was truly phenomenal. His mechanics, focus, timing, delivery left all in awe tonight.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can be taken away from what he was able to accomplish this evening.



With that said, let me reiterate that the Texans accomplished the school's first ever 3rd round post-season appearance finally making it back to the playoffs after twenty-one years.



My hats off to Coach Hendrix on his first year at NHS. Mark my words, we will be seeing greater things from this young man. I venture to say that he will accomplish everything he sets his mind/heart to.

Good luck to North and HP. That will be a battle worth witnessing.

I really hurt for our kids right now, but I cannot think of a more dominating performance in my life.

He was not rusty, but rested. I spoke to one of the many scouts there and he was clocking him at 95-96 regularly on his FB and 90 on his slider. He only went to a full count twice.

It got to the point where we were cheering foul balls. I told young T-Bird that he probably just faced a future major leaguer.

Anyway, congrats to HP. Gotta go to bed...T-Bird kid has Mustangs practice tomorrow.

Thanks cheapy (if I may call you that ), the playoffs were a blast. This group of boys were very tight and there was a lot (for you KD ) of emotion afterwards. They shed the playoff jinx and I hope started a new tradition going forward.

Lol what are you feeding those kids up there? :P I would find it hard for any team to pass up a lefty that throws that hard with good control. The mph on slider is mean! LOL Like playing vegas odds on what pitch you get instead laying up on that "slower" off speed pitch lol.
