What type of program do they have and are they getting better? Are the academics good, bad, average, etc... Tell me about the baseball program, school and the town of Dayton.
My son was heavily recruited by them. They have a pretty good business program. The university however is still pretty much a commuter college which means it lacks for school spirit and social activities compared to more traditional campuses that have more on campus housing. It is what you make it though.
The coaches seem very good and I liked both the head coach and recruiter.
Wright State has a pretty good baseball program and has improved a lot over the years. The school and the area around it have grown tremedously over the years and so has it'sthe school's academic reputation. The baseball field is pretty nice too.
Dayton is your average medium sized mid-western city, and is within one hours drive of both Columbus and Cincinnati. The Reds have a class A minor league team in Dayton (the Dragons) that have sold out consistently since they came to town.
3 years ago we hosted 4 kids from there that came to Maryland to play summer ball here in the Cal Ripken Sr. league. They all seemed to talk very high of the program. In fact one is now pitching for the Met's.
