I promise this will be my last scoring question for a while.
Ball hit hard in the air to the outfielder who charges the ball. The ball bounces in front of him and shoots by - no way he could have caught it off the bouce nor could he of made the catch (the ball was never touched).
Ball rolls to the fence and the batter advances to third. I scored this a single with a two base error. If he had stayed back he could have easily kept the batter at first. Is my interpretation correct.
