I dont want this to affect anyones voting - but you should know the following about Arthur.

In 8 seasons - he had 68 homers.
A total of 1686 official at bats.

But most people do not know that Arthur hit 1200 foul balls past the right field foul pole - each one foul by less than an inch.

If the field had been just a tad bit wider - Arthur would have had about 1300 homers in 8 years.

He makes mush meat out of the Bambino and Aaron.

The prelimanary vote now stands Ruth at 11
and various forms of Shamsky at 8.

However. I have checked with the official HSBBWEB vote counter and we have 4 votes for Ruth with "hanging cyber-chad".
