My son, a high school junior, got a call from a summer coach who wanted his opinion on a player. My son gave an honest evaluation.
I mention this because we always talk about not knowing who is watching, but in this case, you know that your teammates are always watching. You just might not know that someone will ask for their opinion.
I wanted to post this because there was a thread recently where it was mentioned that the board is very college focused, with maybe less to offer to some of the younger players. Thinking about being a good teammate is something which is best learned in the early years, but will pay off the rest of your life.
