Yes he approved. As did my mother. There were two times that I can recall getting hit. That's pretty good in nearly 10 years.

My dad was in the dugout with me during high school games. During junior high games, I stood next to our coach whenever he was off the field.

I won't claim to know everything (or enough) about baseball, but I know a lot more than your average person. This is because I've been around it my entire life.

Huh? The picture above is the play I was referencing why MLB quit letting kids in the dugout. It is impossible to watch them every second and they aren't aware of what is going on and can put themselves in a position to get hurt.
Don't get me started on parental common sense.
