I agree with Coach Labeots, throwing and catching. I would not use a glove...use wiffle balls and tennis balls. Thumb to thumb, pinkie to pinkie.
Focus on having them keep the fingers to the sky. So many times the thumb rotates to the ground and elbow comes up.
Have them run and catch the ball with their glove hand...they often want to catch with their throwing hand at that age when not using a glove.
There are so many drills you can do with throwing and catching.
! hour is as much as you want to go with that age. The attention span is extremely short. Feed them a little at a time..when you quit they should want more. What I’m saying is to stop before the kids want to...
