I was watching Cold Pizza this morning and they said something about the Nationals are going to call up Ryan Zimmerman from Double-A. They said that he was going to fill in at shortstop and third base. Is this true or just a rumor?

According to this AM's Wash. Post, the call could come as soon as today. Looks like they're pretty much done with Guzman at SS.
Ryan is such a joy to watch playing the game. He will do well & I will miss seeing him perform at UVA each Spring.

They started playing him at SS a few weeks ago. He should be in WAS soon.

I had a chance to meet with him while I was filming some stuff for Prospect at UVA. I wanted to follow him through his senior season and document the whole process. He agreed to it but there were so many rules with the NCAA that it made it impossible to do (I think the NCAA rules keep alot of information from players and parents that should be out there.) He's a great guy and hopefully he gets up there asap and sticks.
