That is a pretty good list. Every one of those 15 players attended the PG National last June. In fact, that was the only event that had all 15 players present. FYI, Covey was at the PG National and did pitch very well in the Aflac Game this summer. He also threw a couple weeks ago at the PG WWBA in Jupiter.

Jameson Taillon and Yordy Cabrera are extremely talented athletes. Cabrera won the home run derby at this year's All-American game and Taillon struck out 4 in two scoreless innings.
With Taillon size and plus fastball and curve, he could be a dominant major leaguer. Cabrera has some incredible power and hit a 401ft. home run at the event. Cabrera often draws comparisons to Miguel Cabrera.

It is becoming more and more obvious that you are promoting some kind of recruiting site/service. Especially after one researches your site. This really troubles me as a "real" partner of the Aflac Game since it started.
We select all of the Aflac All Americans, but you seem to be using them to promote your site and your service. I can't believe that you are setting up a file or page on these kids as an example. Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that you are on here promoting it. Do those kids and their parents know you are doing this?
Do these kids have any connection what-so-ever with Sportsforce other than you getting permission to film them at the Aflac Game? I'm fairly certain that Yordy didn't list his first position as UTILITY. Have you ever seen these players other than at the Aflac Game?

For those parents whose son has been eligible for mlb draft or drafted; My son recieved a letter requesting that he complete a very in depth interview and medical history questionnaire. He had to sign and return by 12/1/09. Any insight as to why MLB teams do this? What is the intent behind?
Has major D1 scholarship; signed NLI last week.

We currently have Valdez ranked right around #50 in the country in the 2010 class. We will be following him very closely this spring. He could go pretty early in the draft.

It means there is interest in your son. Did the questionnaire come from an individual club or the MLB Scouting Bureau?

It came from an individual( Area Scouting Supervisor). It took my son almost 2 hours to complete). Does he have a schol? where ? How much etc.

So far, I am skeptical about that being your real goal. It's not just this forum, you have started many other threads, all of which link to your website. There are many places to discuss many things on this site. The people associated seem to have a good baseball background and could discuss many things here and possibly help many others. Yet every single post you have made is geared towards taking people to your (linked) website rather than simply discussing baseball on this site.
Sorry, but it does seem like you are simply using this website as nothing more than a vehicle to advertise your business. Your business does seem to fall under the recruiting service category.

Thanks Jesse and PG, it is good to see a top draft pick(who you play against) so you can figure out where other kids fit in the scheme of things. It gives you a relevant measuring stick.

I didn't want your post to get lost in the discussion. Yes, it is normal for players who have signed a college NLI to receive MLB questionnaires. The formats can vary greatly from team to team, also on who in the organization the questionnaire was coming from. Some can be a brief postcard style requesting just address and contact information. Others can go into detail psych questions! There is NO need worry. Only answer the questions you feel comfortable answering. It is perfectly OK to leave some blank. The key is the contact information and letting the team know what your son's interest is in playing pro ball. Hope this is helpful.
