It depends on the individual needs of the team and program, as well as the ability of the MIF to hit. Is he a 3-4 hole hitter?

There really is no valid gauge you can use. Some may get 80% some 25% some might walk on.

It is all about what the individual player brings to the team, and how that head coach values those skills.

As floridafan says, it really depends on the needs of the team and what the player can bring to the team.

A player can get an offer of 80% from one program, 50% from another and 25% from yet another.   It all just depends.

But, in terms of typical value particular positions might have, up-the-middle positions tend to have more "value" than the corners.  And for the up-the-middle positions, pitching tends to bring the most followed by catchers, then MIF and then CF.   This tends to be reflected not only scholarships but also in the MLB draft bonuses.
