Yeah, you're so right. To me, the A's are an nice team with a dynamite closer. But to dominate the Central Division Champs in the 'toughest' division in all of baseball; they made it look too easy.

Fast forward to this evenings' game. Tigers look like world beaters with terrific pitching from Rodgers. Anyone besides the Yanks or the Mets.

I'm sure Jim Hendry is sweating it out trying to figure out some improbable way to save his job. He has to improve things in a hurry and that won't be easy!

The sox strengthened their strength by adding Thome and letting Frank go, but maybe they should have been strenthening their weaknesses instead. And don't forget they lost a very solid CF who helped them win a WS to get Thome. Maybe Rowand and Thomas together would have been better than Thome and Anderson.
