0-3 Twinkies!

Yeah, you're so right. To me, the A's are an nice team with a dynamite closer. But to dominate the Central Division Champs in the 'toughest' division in all of baseball; they made it look too easy.

Fast forward to this evenings' game. Tigers look like world beaters with terrific pitching from Rodgers. Anyone besides the Yanks or the Mets.

Show me a better division in baseball.
I think that the Twinkies had a bad series, but had a great second half. This loss to a team, that had better pitching is hardly an indictment on the division.

Truth is all these teams have warts. Maybe no dominant team this year. The Twins were really probably toast when they lost Liriano, and once Santana was beaten in the opener it was over.

A's all the way, or like Rosy said, anyone but the Yanks and Mets.

I hope that Ozzie and kenny Williams are enjoying themselves watching Big Frank and Magglio perform in the post season on their televisions.

sull....Frank and Thome were a wash.

I'll take Dye over Magglio any day.

Now if the Sox had Granderson in centerfield all year, I think they would have won.

Brian Anderson is only beaten by yolier (sp) molina, the Cardinals catcher, as the worst hitter in Major League Baseball.

I really hope that Jim Hendry is enjoying this as his Cubbies lay in the rubbish heap at the very bottom of the majors!

I'm sure Jim Hendry is sweating it out trying to figure out some improbable way to save his job. He has to improve things in a hurry and that won't be easy!

The sox strengthened their strength by adding Thome and letting Frank go, but maybe they should have been strenthening their weaknesses instead. And don't forget they lost a very solid CF who helped them win a WS to get Thome. Maybe Rowand and Thomas together would have been better than Thome and Anderson.

Way to go Tigers!

Granderson was certainly right under the noses of the two Chicago clubs, being a UIC product.
