We are new to the area and looking for a competitive summer travel team for our son. Any info. on area teams and tryouts would be appreciated.

bballfam- agree that the jax is also a good program along with los tigres de dallas. there a several programs to choose from in DFW. You cant go wrong with any of them.
I have watched the Diamond Jaxx organization for 3 years. they have good coaches committed to the boys. If I was new to the area and had a 15 year old son who is serious about baseball I would steer him to this group. Not as big of a group as some but from what I have seen, they do right by the boys
I am looking for more advice since I got such great info. with my first post. My son is 15U 6'2" LHP/1B relocated from GA to DFW area. He had knee surgery 10/07 and will not be healthy enough for try-outs until late Feb. early Mar. Have most teams filled summer roster spots by this time? In GA the top teams generally were set by late summer.
Most teams will host a private tryout for a 6'2" lefty from Georgia when he is ready to throw and hit, especially if he can play. 
What area of DFW are you living. This could make decision easier. What level of ball did he play in Georgia.
What team did he play for in Georgia?
He played in Alpharetta out of Wills Park and then for Jim Poole at Webb Bridge.

Nick will give you an honest assessment of where he thinks your son should be playing, etc. If he is "too good" for Nick's Diamond Jaxx level, he will tell you and help you find the proper level.

What is this suppose to mean "too good for Nick's Diamond Jaxx level"
Coach Nick no jab intended just thinking that a 6'2" lefty may need/want to play up, versus 15U level, etc. which you would properly advise him.

What level of play was his team competing in last year? AA - AAA - Major
There is a house on my street for sale and Martin could use some more pitching. 
Sure would be nice to be closer to work 11sdad. 
PD I have a spare bedroom for PDson and the rent wouldn't be to high.
