Its apparent that as freshman ball\summer ball arrives there will be less team practice time and more individual practice required.

Two questions:

1) Anyone have a routine for day to day reps (Hitting, pitching etc...) that I can assist junior with that wont waste time but get the reps desired in?
2) Anyone have pointers on a workout to prep for high school tryouts to ensure we are where we need to be after a long winter break?

I was a freshman last year, and all i can say is, he should be running.....a lot, every high school try out consists of a lot of running and conditioning. Throwing just about everyday is also a must, and i would say he should be hitting...4-5 per week, and when i say that, i mean hitting off tees, hitting in the cage, doing top hand bottom hand drills and other helpful drills, but not all the same day. Mix it up a little.
