Ten yr old HIGH SCHOOL ers?

10 yr. olds....and a $25 try-out fee.....

On a positive note...the 15U team is very impressive....and the Kelley gloves are pretty good too.

The notice for the 10 y.o. tryouts is simply for those HIGH SCHOOL ERS that have younger brothers or parents of HIGH SCHOOL ERS that have younger sons. IMO the $25 charge is to deter those that are not SERIOUS about making a committment.

I seem to remember some other team taking quite a pounding on here for charging a "tryout fee".

I can't believe there would be another team trying to profit for having kids tryout for their team; especially 10 year olds!

H & U you have a memory like an elephant. Have have you been doing lately? Tell T to start getting ready for the Hs season. I expect big things from him this spring. Maybe I'll get to ump one of his games.

We have been there, done that, thoughts on this have been stated and I don't think we need to do it again hence the link above.....

I still stand by my original statement on fees whether the team is Lions, Tigers or Bears... Oh MY..........Let's not start this up again. Just go to the link, refresh our memories and move on.

And just for the record, I will publicly declare that I am opposed to any team collecting tryout fees. Whether they be man or beast!

Aggieville is in Kansas (KSU). My husband is one of those purple guys.

TGUF: Gotta love that Disco music,, just bought an oldie but a goody the other day, Rose Royce, " I'm Wishing on a Star" one of the best songs of that time (also Car Wash the original is on that 8 track ooops CD I mean)............Get out the platform shoes, the gold chains and I am there. GOOD LUCK this weekend, I will be thinking about you......and I know one boy in my household that is GREEN w/envy.

Guess Aggieville is the "party area" around KSU, at least it was xamount of years ago when my husband was there.......like platform shoes that too could have changed.

Guess we have beat this horse to death. so back to the original topic.
